By accessing or using Kidera ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service. These Terms apply to all users, including parents, caregivers, and hospital partners.

2. Description of Service

Kidera is an AI-powered parenting companion app that provides:

  • Personalized guidance and emotional support through AI chat
  • Developmental milestone tracking for children ages 0-5
  • Sleep, feeding, and mood tracking tools
  • Local parent community discovery and groups
  • Stage-specific content from family planning through preschool
  • Hospital partnership programs (where available)

3. User Accounts

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities under your account.

3.3 Account Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary.

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Free and Paid Plans

  • Essential (Free): Basic features available at no cost
  • Premium: ₹299/month or ₹2,999/year subscription
  • Hospital+: Custom pricing for healthcare partners

4.2 Billing

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis. You authorize us to charge your payment method automatically. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.

4.3 Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for Premium subscriptions. Contact support within 30 days of your initial purchase for a full refund. Refunds after 30 days are at our discretion.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription anytime through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds for partial months.

IMPORTANT: Kidera is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • Our AI provides general information and support, not medical advice
  • Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical concerns
  • In emergencies, call emergency services or visit the nearest hospital
  • We do not diagnose conditions or prescribe treatments
  • Developmental milestone tracking is for informational purposes only

6. User Content and Conduct

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you post (chat messages, community posts, photos). By posting, you grant us a license to use, display, and process this content to provide our services.

6.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

  • Post harmful, abusive, or offensive content
  • Harass, bully, or threaten other users
  • Share false or misleading information
  • Violate others' privacy or intellectual property
  • Use the Service for illegal purposes
  • Attempt to hack or disrupt the Service
  • Create multiple accounts to evade bans
  • Spam or send unsolicited commercial messages

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Kidera (including software, text, graphics, logos, AI models) are owned by Kidera and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer our Service.

8. Third-Party Services

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of these third parties.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KIDERA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kidera from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of others' rights.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any reason with notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may delete your account anytime through settings.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, India.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
